jsondb2 module changelog

History from the unversioned root baseline to the distributed 0.1.0.1 module, using both surviving implementations. No jsondb2 backups or in-module release notes are available.

Compatibility changes to notice

• Importing the distributed 0.1.0.1 copy adds updater/bootstrap side effects absent from the root baseline.

Releases and snapshots

Approximate date: 2024-06-29 (snapshot timestamp, UTC).

• Added the __version__ = "0.1.0.1" declaration and PMBlue updater integration.
• Added a missing-updater bootstrap that downloads pmblue_update.py, then invokes self_update on script execution or import. Direct execution passes adv_info=True, primary_mod=True.
• The JsonFile, nested-container, and queue implementations are unchanged from the unversioned root copy after normalizing line endings.

Unversioned baseline

Approximate date: 2024-03-01 (snapshot timestamp, UTC).

• Already contains JsonFile loading, saving, dictionary-style access, optional automatic saving, and wrappers for nested list/dictionary mutation.
• Already contains asynchronous save support, AsyncProperty, Queue, and QueueManager for queued synchronous/asynchronous operations. These features cannot be dated individually from the available source.

Evidence: Root baseline jsondb2.py.

Source inventory and reconstruction limits

Both jsondb2.py and modules/jsondb2.py were compared. The root copy has no version declaration, so it is not assigned an invented earlier version. No sources earlier than the 2024-03-01 baseline survive here.
