FormManager browser library changelog
Jump to a version or snapshot
History from the older resources/form_manager_.js copy to the current resources/form_manager.js, also preserved identically at the root. These files do not declare release versions.
How to read this history
- Approximate dates: source-file modification timestamps in UTC, not confirmed release dates. A timestamp may reflect a later save, backup, or copy.
- Evidence: surviving source snapshots and direct comparisons; no usable Git history is available. A baseline lists capabilities already present, not their original introduction dates.
- Scope: source-based reconstruction; historical code was not imported or executed.
Releases and snapshots
Current unversioned snapshot
Approximate date: 2026-07-06 (snapshot timestamp, UTC).
- Expanded SSN input validation to reject values beginning with 9, 000, or 666, values with middle digits 00, and values ending in 0000. This describes the implemented checks, not validation against an issuing authority.
- Added
_street_address_validatorand recognition offm-street-addressfields. Nonempty values must start with a digit; empty values defer to the existing required-field handling. - Made the no/yes toggle path of
FieldManager.set_valuereturn the field value immediately after dispatchingfm_set_value. - Consolidated Date-object/numeric timestamp handling in date fields and checked
getTime()before formatting a date. - Removed
deferfrom the script-tag example in the source header. The rootform_manager.jsis byte-identical to this served resource.
Evidence: Served resource resources/form_manager.js; identical root copy form_manager.js; compared with older snapshot resources/form_manager_.js.
Earlier unversioned baseline
Approximate date: 2026-03-05 (snapshot timestamp, UTC).
- Already contains
FormManagerregistration, field discovery,get_field,add_field, required checks, success/incomplete/invalid callbacks, and additional form validation. - Already contains
FieldManagervalue access and setting, phone/email/SSN/number validators, checkbox/date handling, no/yes toggles, and field event initialization.
Evidence: Older snapshot resources/form_manager_.js.
Source inventory and reconstruction limits
All three matching files were compared. Two unique source states are preserved; no numbered releases or intermediate snapshots are available. The interval between the baseline and current copy is not assigned invented release dates.
